NMB BANK LIMITED

The design principle behind NMB building spans from Vaastu Shastra on one end to aesthetics of second degree curves at the other. The unpretentious rectangular plan is guided by texts on Vaastu, while the façade is a manifestation of poetic curves as shapes delineating multi story fenestrations. This was an attempt to design a contemporary corporate building, ensuring a majestic, yet inviting form. The scenic lift adds element of kinesis to the façade and serves as a cue to guide the pair of observing eyes along the curves.
